What is NOLS?

The National Opioid Leadership Summit is an annual meeting of leaders and experts from fields that work to address Substance Use Disorder and reduce its impact on individuals, families and communities. NOLS was born out of a need to continue and amplify the power of diverse communities and professional sectors when they work together to reduce opioid overdose and death. NOLS will highlight cutting edge technologies, consider the impact of COVID, look at alternatives to incarceration as treatment, and consider systemic and ethical implications of new approaches. Through sharing of best practices and stimulating examination and discussion of ideas between those different professional sectors, we hope to advance knowledge and practice by building trust and forging new relationships.
